We collect the least we can, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
Who we are
Construction Recon operates constructionrecon.com. For any privacy question, write to larry@roadtrades.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you request founding access or write to us, we keep your name, company, email address, the role you selected, the market you named and anything you typed in the message, so we can answer you.
- A record that a request came in. We store a one-way scrambled form of the network address a request arrived from. It cannot be turned back into an address; it exists only to stop the same connection flooding the form.
- Ordinary server logs. Our host records requests to the site in the usual way for security and reliability.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not require an account to read anything published here.
Why we have it
To reply to you, to open access to a market you asked about, and to keep the site working and unabused. That is the whole list.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. If we ever offer a mailing list, joining it will be a separate, deliberate choice.
- We do not use what a subscriber does in the product as material for anything we publish.
Who else touches it
Only the services that make the site run: our web host, and the email service that carries our replies. They handle it on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes. We may disclose information if the law requires it, and we will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.
Business information we publish
Our published intelligence concerns companies and construction projects, not private individuals. Where a business contact detail appears, it is a business detail that the company itself puts out publicly, and we publish it in a business capacity. We do not publish personal contact details of individual workers. If you believe something we published about your company is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
How long we keep it
Access requests are kept while we are in contact and for up to two years afterward, so we can pick up a conversation where it stopped. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to larry@roadtrades.com and we will act within thirty days. If you are in a place with specific privacy rights, we honor those rights regardless of where you live.
Security, and changes
The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to the request records is limited to the people who answer them. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If we change this policy we will change the effective date above, and material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
